Welcome to Notus Elementary.  We are a small, rural school with a student population of about 210 students.  Notus Elementary provides academic excellence and opportunity, in a safe, caring and respectful learning environment.  Through rigorous and creative instructional methods, our school strives to meet the individual and group learning needs of all our students.

Because of our committment to our students, Notus Elementary has made AYP for the 2009-2010 school year.  This is the third year in a row that Notus Elementary has made AYP!

We hope that you find our school to be a warm and inviting place. Notus is a community school that is committed to our students and focused on continuous improvement.  It is an honor to serve the Notus community, our students, and our staff.  Please do not hesitate to contact me if I can be of service to you and your family.

Thank you,

Tyson Carter
